Boa Vista do Tupim is a municipality located in the central region of Bahia with a strong agricultural presence and a large number of small- and medium-sized rural producers. The municipality was selected for the implementation of DAT due to the diversity of its crops and the need for greater access to digital technology for local development, particularly within the cassava, licuri, and honey production chains.
With its semi-arid climate and Caatinga landscapes, the municipality has excelled in producing foods that can withstand the region's climatic conditions. Implementing DAT will provide producers with access to new technologies and training in topics such as irrigation, soil water retention management, planting water-saving species, beekeeping, and the various uses of licuri.
With Semear Digital's support, Boa Vista do Tupim will become an innovation hub, strengthening local agriculture and ensuring a sustainable future for its producers!
