Agriculture is at the heart of global challenges, and digital technologies are essential to ensuring a sustainable, climate- resilient future. It is essential to include small and medium-sized farmers in the digital transformation of the countryside because they play a key role in the agricultural sector. The Semear Digital project is bringing digital solutions to different biomes and production chains in Brazil through dialogue with local communities. These solutions support sustainable agroforestry management, efficient use of resources, climate forecasting, risk management, integrated systems adoption, and access to the carbon market, certifications, and new consumer niches. Semear Digital will be present at Agrizone, Embrapa's space in Belém, during COP30.

Visit the Agrizone, Embrapa's House of Sustainable Agriculture, at COP30 to learn more about the Semear Digital project on display at the Meliponário. There, you can learn about various Amazonian bee species and Embrapa's technologies for the region, including digital tools for managing bees and açaí and virtual showcases of solutions that balance production, forest conservation, and social inclusion.
Agrizone is located at Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, less than two kilometers from the Blue Zone, where the COP30 negotiations are taking place, in Belém, Pará.
This innovative platform presents a wide range of agricultural data in an integrated, user-friendly manner on a visualization dashboard. This data includes information collected by sensors in the field, satellite images, and socioeconomic data. Our goal is to transform this heterogeneous, scattered data into useful, accessible information that supports decision-making and public policy management related to connectivity, technology adoption, production efficiency, and the sustainable future of the agricultural sector. Currently in the validation stage, the platform initially provides information on the ten Agrotechnological Districts (DATs) that make up Semear Digital.
The Semear Digital experience is already being adapted and replicated in neighboring countries, such as Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, based on a pilot project in partnership with the International Cooperation Program for Agriculture in the Southern Cone (Procisur). The goal is to share, beyond Brazil's borders, a strategy for sustainable socio-productive and digital inclusion capable of promoting economic, environmental, social, and territorial development.
